Overview

HireIT provides high-quality IT support services to ensure the availability of computing resources used by members of the University community on a daily basis.

HireIT is part of the University of Pennsylvania's central IT organization - Information Systems and Computing. Clients contract with HireIT to be their Local Support Provider for end user computing and strategic Information Technology support.

When you contact HireIT, you’ll have a support team that has a deep, shared knowledge of the Penn environment, the ability to leverage leading-edge technology, and a commitment to provide excellent customer service.

Support Options 

HireIT service tiers and features describes the support resources available for your School, Center, or Department, and can be tailored to provide custom solutions that best fit your IT needs.

  • Regular contracted Local Support Provider services available at three service tier levels - Key, Extended, Leadership
  • Field & Project Services for ad-hoc, as-needed support
  • Supplemental staffing for existing organizational IT support services
  • Certified Desktop for baseline, standard workstation configuration and maintenance
  • AV support for events
